I would like to be able to hit a key combination such as contrl+alt+2 to jump to the second desktop, can that be set up with kde? Also in kde2 I understand there is a way to change the browser called up when you click on a link in kmail2. I tried changing file associations from konqueor to Opera, but that didn't so . Can someone tell me what has to be change to use Opera with kmail rather than konqueor? thanks in advance joe PS: KDE2 will not shutdown for me, I must use contrl+alt+backspace, my son has the same problem on his system (7.1 install ) is there a fix for this problem?
you can simply type ctrl-f2 to go to desktop 2, it's already preconfigured. to configure your own keybindings, go to K|preferences|peripherals|keyboard. joost On Friday 02 March 2001 17:10, you wrote:

sorry, that was K | preferences | look & feel | key bindings... BTW, there are mailing lists for KDE, where you will have better luck with questions like these, esp. the second one, cos i have no idea about that. jk On Friday 02 March 2001 17:16, you wrote:
