To start SAMBA, run /et/rc.d/smb start (or is it smbd start? CAn't remember of hand). If you make sure that your rc.config contains the line (START_SMB="yes" ) and re-run SuSEconfig your Samba will start at boot time. As for WebMin, I'm not sure that there IS am RPM for it ANYWHERE. Just download it, put it into a diractory (I use /usr/local/src) and untar/unzip it. cd to the Webmin diractory and run the setup.sh script, answer the questions and there you go. WEbmin is a GREAT tool, and very easy to set up... Even works with SSL, if you do a little extra work. HTH, Geordon Jack Malone said:

I used to do it thure the webmin but the version i have was a redhat rmp that want install on suse 7.0, it works for 6.4 though. Is there an rpm for webmin for suse out there anywhere. I just the eval version for now . thanks
