Mozilla wants to distribute its files differently from the way in which SuSE 8.2 distributed the files of the Mozilla that came with it. Do you see any problems coming out of that? Thanks dj tuchler

Oops, replied off-list, sorry... If you mean in terms of the branding statements they've made, then so long as the packages are handled well, there shouldn't be any problem. I'm sure that between myself and Wolfgang, we'll come up with a reasonable solution, and I'll mostly be taking my lead from him - after all, he's the guy who works for SuSE, not me ;-) -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2). you mean the directory-structure? Mozilla 1.2.1 on SuSE 8.2 uses our old directory-structure. But due to changes in the mozilla distribution it was not longer possible to keep it that way. James' 1.4b packages have the same structure as future SuSE packages. This should be no problem but to be sure you shouldn't use rpm -U but rpm -e; rpm -i to keep your filesystem as clean as possible.
