Is there an easy way to downgrade an installed Suse Linux file system from the default 'ReiserFS' to 'ext2' I have a compatibility problem with a daemon process that apparently can be fixed by using 'ext2' file system, however my system is configured as 'ReiserFS'. The obvious method to downgrade is the very painful one of reformatting and reinstalling the Linux system, I'm aware that there are easy options for 'ext2' and 'ext3' but know little about 'ReiserFS'. Mark.

No, I don't know of any tool to convert Reiserfs to Ext3, sorry. What daemon could have that sort of problem? -- Thibaut Cousin http://www.thibaut-cousin.net
