I have just installed SuSE 9.0 Pro and have encountered a weird problem. Using Mozilla and doing a Google Advanced search does not appear to work. Clicking the Google Search button does nothing. Additionally, it won't save my language preferences. If I use Epiphany both things work. Anyone else seen this behavior? BTW Mozilla version is 1.4.

It works okay for me. Have you tried again? Could you have JavaScript turned off or something like that in your Mozilla prefs? Roger

I had a similar problem with SuSE 8.2. I downloaded mozilla 1.5 and the search button did nothing. I had to reinstate mozilla 1.4

I used apt to upgrde to version 1.5, and all then worked as normal - Stan

That is basically what I did, except I removed 1.4 and installed 1.5 from ULB and everything works fine.
