I am running Suse 9.3 with the default kernel on an Acer Ferrari 4000 laptop. I am using the latest ATI proprietary driver. Everything works OK except I can't seem to get 3D support activated. All the docs suggest the hardware is supported. I am running x86_64. Any ideas as to how to fix this? JST

If you are using the 8.22.5 build of the ATI driver, you are experiencing the same problem I had with it, 3d would not work. I went back to the previous build, which works without problems. (8.21.7) Lee
