Hey gang, Where did gears/glxgears go in 9.2? I looked for it on the DVD, but it's nowhere to be found...at least by me, heh. Tried to also to find it on searches on the 'net, but no 'downloads' anywhere...again, probably just me. Any ideas?

Hi all, I recently updated my SuSE 9.1 system using the rpm's from the following: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/usr-local-bin/9.1 Originally I had trouble with Pango and I couldn't open most apps, but after running YaST and allowing the config scripts to run I can now open everything again. However, in some programs like firefox and xchat, all my GUI has changed to a very basic design. If I open them from the shell I get the following error: Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "qtengine" Also, firefox gives a very strange output which I'm sure it didn't do before: ged@linux:~> /opt/firefox/firefox (QFA)Talkback error: Can't initialize. (firefox-bin:4996): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "qtengine", *** loading the extensions datasource <FLASHGOT> Cleaned file:////opt/firefox/chrome/overlayinfo/navigator/content/overlays.rdf </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> Cleaned file:////opt/firefox/chrome/overlayinfo/browser/content/overlays.rdf </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> Cleaned file:////home/gedi/.mozilla/firefox/frn4hey7.default/chrome/overlayinfo/navigator/content/overlays.rdf </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> Cleaned file:////home/gedi/.mozilla/firefox/frn4hey7.default/chrome/overlayinfo/browser/content/overlays.rdf </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> Per-window init started </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> Per-window init done </FLASHGOT> MozGest: ---- Startup ---- MozGest: ---- Get Contentarea --- MozGest: Removing Listeners MozGest: Adding Listeners Loading gesture table MozGest: ---- Shutdown ---- MozGest: Removing Listeners MozGest: Saving gesture counts <FLASHGOT> profile-before-change </FLASHGOT> <FLASHGOT> xpcom-shutdown </FLASHGOT> Does anyone know how to fix this as I would like my modern looking system back. Thanks.

Appologies, I have just compiled and installed gtk-qt-engine and all is now fine. (although I don't understand fully what was going wrong if someone would care to explain. Thanks

Bah...the one thing I *didn't* do...a simple 'locate' <sigh>. Can't do a 'glxgears' anymore either, have to put the whole path in to make it work. No big deal though, heh. Thanks Patrick.
