I tried several M$ nameservers, but nothing changed. Now, I have done nothing and everything is back up to speed. That makes me think it was an Internet thing. Ed Harrison SuSE 8.2, Kernel 2.4.21, KDE 3.1.3 PolarBar Mailer 1.25a

Hi I had a similar problem with my cable modem and thought it was internet related but it continued for about 4 weeks. After reading the list I tried the turn off ip6 and everything is now back up to speed. etc/modules.conf #alias net-pf-10 ipv6 alias net-pf-10 off Worked for me Paul -- Powered by SuSe 8.2 KDE 3.1.4 K-mail 1.5.4
