After I update with YOU SuSE runs configuration scripts resulting in changing key links which break the 3D graphics of Nvidia. Links such as libGL.so.1 and libGLcore no longer point to the Nvidia libs. I have to manually relinks. Is there a configuration parameter I need to change so the suseconfig scripts do not break the Nvidia 3D links? You need to reinstall the nvidia drivers and then run sax2. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos

Quite right. I've not had the nVida problems some have had. D'l the update driver, boot into konsole mode, and run sax2. Fred

I picked up a new MX440 for my system before doing the 9.1 install, the 3D drivers are from the Distro, with 3D enabled, Point2Play indicates active 3D support and notes it to be slow. Will switching over to nVidia's drivers help this at all? Mike
You don't need to run sax2 everytime you reinstall / update the driver. Run it for the first time and that's it. Sax2 is a pain 'cause the -m 0=nvidia resets every config. Andre Lourenco
