The Beast and Sony will only ping and nothing else!
From the Beast I can enter Seth1's quad into the URL and display Sony's localhost webpage. But, I cannot display the Beast's localhost webpage from Sony. Neither can I access the internet from the Beast through the Sony, either by quad address or domain name. When I attempt to display
I have installed an EN104 hub and connected Sony's eth1 and the Beast's eth0 to it. The ADSL remains connected to Seth0. I do not want to connect the ADSL to the hub. I ran YaST2 and setup the network on both boxes. Well, apparenly YaST2 doesn't do it all. I can ping the Beast from the Sony and I can ping the Sony from the beast. the Beast's localhost web page I can see the hublight for the Sony blink, but not the Beasts. Obviously, YaST doesn't know how to install a LAN without some human help, and I don't have enough networking knowledge to be useful. What am I missing folks?
