Hi all, just installed Suse 8.2 Pro in my desktop (in my laptop it gave no problems!) and it looks like it cannot find the right monitor. I have a 15" flat monitor, and I have tried the 1503FP and a standard LCD 1024x768@75Hz In both cases Sax2 fries when doing the test (mouse not working and no response to keyboard) (I got those from looking through the list) If in any case I get to a not too bad (which means black margins on the screen) configuration and I save... well it hangs with a black screen and cursor blinking. Has anyone sorted out this monitor? Thanks, Sergio -- Didja hear about the dyslexic devil worshipper who sold his soul to Santa?
Hi all again. I got to a not too bad configuration in terms of size, but there is something weird. There are certain vertical bands in the screen in which the fonts are seen really bad... like diffussed or fuzzy... not clear, has anyone seen this? It is not a hardware problem, I just changed from Mandrake to Linux and with Mandrake it was working fine. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks! Try setting it to 60Hz and see what happens. Tom On Thu, 2003-09-25 at 06:59, Sergio Dominguez wrote:

Also, I forgot this, hit the menu button on your lcd to see what resolution it's "really" running at. Once you get close, hit your auto-adjust button. Tom On Thu, 2003-09-25 at 06:59, Sergio Dominguez wrote:
