I am trying to install Plone in Zope on SuSE 9.1. I downloaded Plone-2.0.3 tarball from www.plone.org site, untarred it in /usr/local/zope, and created symlinks in Products sub-directory of Zope's INSTANCE_HOME (/var/opt/zope/default/Products) to each of the product sub-directories in /usr/local/zope/Plone-2.0.3. However, they don't show in the Products sub-directory of the Control Panel. What am I doing wrong? TIA, Jeffrey
Did you restart Zope after it?

My installation is a little bit different because I've zope 2.7.0
installed in /usr/local/zope, my instance is in /usr/local/zope/home, and
I just put Plone in /usr/local/zope/home/Products, ie the only difference
with you is that I put it in the product folder of my zope instance
instead of linking it, but it should work the same. Which version of Zope
do you have?
Actually I've Plone 2.0.2 installed, not 2.0.3. Could it be a problem with
the last version? Could you try Plone 2.0.2, first without the symlink,
putting everything directly in the zope products folder of your zope
instance?

Gael,
Okay, that worked. The INSTALL.txt files say copy or link. One
possible other explanation is that I stopped Zope while copying.
Anyway, it works.
Note for the record. I installed Zope from the SuSE 9.1 DVD and Plone
w/ CMF included from a tarball.
Thank you,
Jeffrey

For the sake of curiosity, which version of Zope is included wih SuSe 9.1?
Thanks
