I quit with MS Office and moved to SOffice/linux for such romantic millitance (so to say) all you know.

I haven't had any problems with WordPerfect (other than one install related problem) in the 2 years I've been using it.

The outcome is that I lost a whole project the week before completion (about 300 pages). (Don't blame me for not keeping backups).

Well, you should blame yourself then.

I mean, there's a lot of work for linux to become a real working office system.

A lot? Maybe only a little as I've been pretty productive with my system. The only thing I'd like at this point is easier MIDI setup.
