What happened to http://www.maximumlinux.org? It was up a few days ago but yesterday and today, I haven't been able to access it (browser pops up, "no route to host" and can't ping the site). Just wondering. -- Ron Sinclair @ http://www.wigglit.com * Registered Linux User #180338, Suse 7.1 and Slackware 7.0 *

The last I heard they were moving to a new server and waiting for their DNS to be updated. That was about two weeks ago though... -Tim On Sunday 28 October 2001 08:40 am, you wrote:

If you are referring to the site associated with Maximum Linux magazine, the mag went out of business, so probably the site is now disbanded. *********************************************** Powered by SuSE Linux 7.2 Professional KDE 2.1.2 KMail 1.2 Bryan S. They are definetly out of business. I had a year subscription to Maximum Linux, unfortunately I am now getting Wired Magazine. (which I really do not want) Aparantly they decided I should read Wired Instead. At this point I look at the pictures in Wired and think damn how lame this is.... Regardless of the money. Damn shame they shut that mag down. Bad move if you ask me. On Sunday 28 October 2001 12:17 pm, you wrote:
