[opensuse] SuSE11, KDE3, what prevents running a file from within env
Hi list, - I've got what I thought were two identical systems, both brand new SuSE11. - in /opt/kde3/env/ I've got a symlink to a small shell script that sits in /opt/scripts/eftertanke.sh - on system A this script is run everytime KDE is started, on system B, it never runs. Anyone any ideas as to what may prevent the running of that small script on system B? -------------------------------------------- Med venlig hilsen/best regards Verner Kjærsgaard Novell Certified Linux Professional 10035701 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I'm afraid I have no idea about this problem, I set programs to start with KDE using the autostart kcontrol module (search the build-service). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Just an idea, but did you check if the script is executable on system B? Have you tried running it manually? Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
