[S.u.S.E. Linux] Bug in ld.so or what
Hi I installed the QT 1.40 to begin development on Linux, but I'm out of luck in the startup because I get the following error message when I try to run on of the example program (menu) The error message is: BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: ../sysdeps/i386/dl-machine.h: 291: elf_machine_rel: Assertion `! "unexpected dynamic reloc type"Ž failed! When I run ldd on the program i.e. ldd menu I get: libqt.so.1 => /usr/local/qt/lib/libqt.so.1 ... libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 ... libstdc++.so.2.8 => /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.2.8 ... libm.so.6 => /usr/local/lib/libm.so.6 ... libc.so.6 => /usr/local/lib/libc.so.6 ... /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /usr/local/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x00000000) I dont know where to start. Reinstalling Linux and upgrading gcc and recompiling everything is not an option (it would take me another week, I've already done it twice). Any help appreciated. regards -- Ingvaldur /---------------------------+-------------------------/ ( ingi@elit.se | Quote to come...
