PHP 4 and 7.2 Personal
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi: I need to install PHP 4 in my SuSE 7.2 Personal box. I have Apache running and installed from original CD's. When I try to run the configure script with the --with-apxs switch, it complaints that I don't have this file, apxs, in my system. A search for this file confirms this. From what I understand, this is part of the Apache distribution, but SuSE does not have it. How can I install PHP? Your suggestions will be appreciated. - -- Alfredo J. Install the mod_php4 rpm . It is in the n2 series. However, take a look at the updates, because I remember they issued a security update for php4. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
