need to add ATA 133 card under SuSE10.x
Foljs, I need to add more CD-ROM drives to my PC and I am looking to install a PCI ATA133 card. I'm looking at the Adaptec 1233 PCI card. My question is Adaptec does not list Linux as a supported OS. Has anyone used this card successfuly? I could not find the chipset info on Adaptec's web so I could not tell if this is in the SuSE supported HW dB. If there is a better card to use (I do not need RAID support), please let me know. Thanks, Babu __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! I have been using Promise ATA133 card for a couple of years now, since 9.0. It works just fine. -- -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny)
