One of the web masters has already tried this unsuccessfully.
You could try TeraTerm Pro with TTSSH. Free, and doesn't use the Windows registry, which means that you can just put in on a floppy/directory and use it wherever you want. -- Jurjen Oskam * carnivore! * http://www.stupendous.org/ for PGP key assassinate nuclear iraq clinton kill bomb USA eta ira cia fbi nsa kill president wall street ruin economy disrupt phonenetwork atomic bomb sarin nerve gas bin laden military -*- DVD Decryption at www.stupendous.org -*- -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

What kind of "trouble" is it having? You install ttermpro in its own directory then unzip the ssh files into that same directory. Then, run ttssh.exe and make sure you choose port 22. -- Brad Shelton On Line Exchange http://online-isp.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

I also use this on my Win98 box and it works great. Maybe you've got a faulty download? I realize you've probably been over this with a fine tooth comb but I've found others can point out minute details that make all the difference. So here goes! Here is the install instructions that I used: 1) Download and install Teraterm 2.3. 2) Download the TTSSH package. 3) Unzip it into the directory where you've already installed Teraterm 2.3 This will create files LIBEAY32.EXE, TTXSSH.DLL and TTSSH.EXE. 4) Run "TTSSH.EXE" and the extension should be available. You should see a new "SSH" option in the "New connection" dialog box and menu items "Setup/SSH...", "Setup/SSH authentication..." and "Help/About TTSSH...". 5) If you have problems, make sure there is a copy of MSVCRT.DLL in your SYSTEM32 directory. I just checked and msvcrt.dll is located in C:\Windows\System on my box, not in System32. I don't know why but it works. Maybe have a copy in both? Also, seems to me that system files are over written on a regular basis when installing apps in Win9x (what a stupid system), you might want to copy it (msvcrt.dll) over from the '98 cd. -- Tim http://ridgeriders.org -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
Tried it twice (on two different computers) Could be, but then why would it
work on 95?
