Does anyone have a link to a good guide for recompiling the Suse kernel? I've tried a couple of generic linux guides, but have ended up thrashing the PC, so I'm wondering if there may be something Suse specific that I'm missing. -- CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information. Drew, what you probably meant to ask was - does anyone have a link to a good guide for reCONFIGURING the Suse kernel? Rebuilding is straight forward whereas rebuilding it for your specific needs is not. Wrt re/configuring the Linux kernel, there is plenty of HOWTOs and guides out there, but nothing helps as much as knowing/understanding your hardware and software requirements. /Per Jessen, Zürich
