Re: [SLE] First impressions of SuSE.
But YaST2 *is* completely integrated into the KDE control centre and that's way it is meant to be. Not the other way 'round.
Yes, that's good. But what's wrong with this picture: + Network + Sound + YaST2 Those are entries in KControl. If I'm looking to change the network settings I'd click on 'Network'. If I'm looking to change the sound settings I'd click on 'Sound'. See where I'm getting at? Instead of 'YaST2' as an entry perhaps it would be easier for the user to understand 'Printer', 'Modem', and 'Security'. Do you see what I mean? If we take those examples, KControl would look like this instead: + Network + Sound + Printer + Modem + Security Maybe not exactly those menu items, but that's the idea. Ok. I won't bug you anymore about this now, I promise. :) Regards, Mattias

Good idea. YaST2's modules could easily be distruted across the KDE2 categories...

Keep bugging 'em! ;-) BTW, you might try writting comments@suse.de (IIRC), so they can consider the idea... -Tim -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R.
