I'm using AVerMedia TV98 on a SuSE 6.4 system. It was PIA setting proper parameters in /etc/modules.conf, but now it works flawlessly with kwintv.

>
I find the suse hardware data base seems to be a bit out dated.
Agree, it didn't help me in my set up. HTH, Kastus

I have had excellent success with the WinTV card. It is well supported even by default now in SuSE 7 with Xawtv or Kwintv. It is also called by Haggopean (sp). WinTv is the brand. Inexpensive too for the basic card.
-- Best regards, Gary

I recommend the Hauppage WinTV. It worked right away for me with SuSE 7 using kwintv. *************************************************** Powered by SuSE Linux 7.0 Professional KMail 1.0.29.2 Bryan S. Tyson bryantyson@earthlink.net ***************************************************
