Re: [opensuse] Connecting to WiFi
From the packman.links2linux.org site I could install wiki-radar for 10.3, but trieing to start it nothing happened!! KnetworkManager as well as NetworkManager are installed, but I can't get them to work
What to do?
André Hi Andre, just to make sure, do you have the wireless working? You will find that you can't use knetwork manager to detect wireless networks until you get the radio working to receive them.
Could you please detail which method you used to get your wireless working? I just tried to display the various methods as to how to get your wifi working. I didn't get specific and there may be other things you have to do that you will discover by using google to research your chosen method of running your wifi. For example, if you have a broadcom bcx43xx wireless card in your laptop, you have to blacklist the suse driver if you use ndiswrapper with the windows driver to get the wifi working. Otherwise the two drivers will conflict. Mark -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
