[opensuse] e17 autostart
Hi I run this command each time I start enlightenment: trayer --edge bottom --align right --widthtype 15% Is there a way to do it automatically? The autostart e module only runs binaries without the possibility to add arguments. 11.1 with the 1 click e cvs install. Hi

trayer --edge bottom --align right --widthtype 15%
Is there a way to do it automatically? The autostart e module only runs binaries without the possibility to add arguments. So put the command in a script, set the proper permissions and run that instead.

Hi Yes that's fine but the question is specific to e I'm afraid. Say I have the script and I make it executable. How do I add it to the e app list so I can choose it to autostart? IIRC e17 has a restart applications option on the right panel on the config tool (cannot remember whether to right click or left click to access it). to use it you need to define a menu definition for the application you wish to run, then add it to this option. I am not running 11.1 so I am not certain whether this applies to this particular version, and you may also run into some permission issues setting this up. Setting up e17 to function as it did on 10.2 is one of the things on my todo list which I have yet todo as the current version of e16 is doing the job quite nicely. :-) .... - -- ============================================================================== I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
