Not rescue mode, continue as one would do for a normal install, when it gets to the screen saying to fresh install or update, there will be a button in the bottom right of the screen (other I think), select the button and chose the repair option. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, Windows has a habit of doing that. You might be able to get back (almost) to normal by booting off a live CD and using grub-install. Moral of the story is: If you're going to have a dual/multi boot machine with windows anywhere on it, install windows first, THEN Linux (which will nicely detect you have windows installed and add an entry to Grub's menu.lst for you -- Paul Walsh -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That's absolutely no help for the zillions of windoz installs that are the inevitable windoz REinstalls. Better to do it right so doz don't: http://mrmazda.no-ip.com/install-doz-after.html -- "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8 NIV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
