I know this is going to sound like a silly question, but can someone tell me please what the panel on the top of the date panel in korganizer is meant to be for? So far, all I've managed to get it to do is turn blue when I click on it. Thanks Peter Nunn
I've never run this app before but I did to take a look. I ran it from the command line and I got a bunch of error messages. However it did start and, there is a small calendar near the top left hand side. On top of the days (Mon Tue Wed etc) there are four buttons with the international sign of forward, back, fast forward and fast reverse which skip a month or year at a time. Above that there is a very long menu bar that spans the entire window and it is full of office-type widgets, mostly all functional. Lastly, above that still there is the familiar "File Edit View Go Actions ..." widget set. I couldn't see the blue-turning panel you're describing. Peter Nunn wrote:

If this is the same panel I think you're talking about, it is used to show "all day" events. You can double click on it, and create an event with no associated time, and it places it up there. Great for peoples birthdays and things like that. On Wednesday 14 May 2003 07:59 pm, Peter Nunn wrote:
