If your drive cannot read duallayer DVDs, your hardware is faulty. Every video DVD out there is DL.

Pretty wide statement -- Most assuredly "every" video DVD is not DL.
From raw-ripping MANY DVDs over time, almost every one that's an hour and a half or shorter is below 4.7 GB - or single layered.

Hi, He meant PLAYER. The standard under which they are licensed to manufacturers requires it. PeterB
