Hello all, This is indeed a very friendly list. This week i posted a question about startx command and i got 5-6 answers. Thank you all! Now i want some recommendation on this too. I use ftp a lot for downloading. In the linux world i used kbear, gftp, ncftp and Iglooftp (this is a commercial gtk-based ftp client) but all miss a feature that it is very essential for me. I want the ftp client to close my dial-up connection when all the files i wanted have been downloaded (i really need this because sometimes i have things downloading all night meanwhile i go to sleep. This is the only way to download big and many files if you are on a slow connection.). Anyway, is there such a ftp client with this feature? downloads all night while i go to sleep) Thanks in advance.

There's ncftpget in ncftp which you could run as ncftpget ftp.server.com/file local-file && killall pppd -- Stephen Patterson Whom computers would destroy, they must first drive mad.
Hi, My v7.3 search results screen displays "corrupted or no search database at all" after adding some software and maybe some documentation via yast2 Is there something I can/should do about this? Thanks, -- Maynard
