Hi!
How to get Slovenian or Croatian keyboard layout on Suse7.0 + XFree4.0.1 + KDE2?
Thanks, Ales
Yes. The same for Lithuanian (Baltic ISO8859-13, CP-1257, UTF-8) keyboard layout. Would someone be so kind and explain what we have to do to get different local keyboard layout and font's in SuSE 7.0. To SuSE people: in Mandrake there is a team for i18l project. And they are doing good job - there is support for almost all languages. What about SuSE? Thanks, Audrius Verseckas

You have to setup all your LC parameters (you can do with Yast) to hr_HR or whatever is needed for Slovenian language. Besides that you must have modified Xmodmap file (you can find fiel from Primoz Peterlin or I can send you if needed) and Slovene fonts in your XF86Config file. At the end, you have to include Slovenian keyboard in X, something like: Option "XkbKeyCodes" "xfree86" Option "XkbLayout" "si" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" in your XF86Config file under "InputDevice" (keyboard) section. Sincerely, Sasa P.S. I forgot to mention that you have to add something like xkb_keymap "hr_HR" { xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86" }; xkb_types { include "default" }; xkb_compatibility { include "default" }; xkb_symbols { include "en_US(pc105)+hr" }; xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc102)" }; }; in your /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/keymap/xfree86 file.
