Hello, my name is Andrew and I'm new to this list. I am running SuSe linux 6.4 with kernel 2.2.16 with the USB backport of 2.4. What versions are you running? Anyway, I have my first question which I doubt I will get an adequate response to, due to the unpopularity of this device. I have the latest USB driver running and I want to be able to get my Lifeview USB Capview, a video capture device, working. I was wondering if any of you have it, know where I can get a driver, or know about it. I have a hunch that that it is compatible with the CPIA driver in the kernel, but I am not sure. Other such driver s might as well, but I have not the slightest idea. I do not want to call tech support, because knowing these reps, they do not even know what linux is. Thanx very much for you support, armains@channel1.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

Actually, SuSE's support staff is very knowledgable. If nobody manages to come up with an answer, then you might try them.
