On SuSE 7.3, the simplest way is to edit /etc/rc.config.d/sendmail.rc.config. Set either SENDMAIL_SMARTHOST or SENDMAIL_RELAY or both, depending on your needs, run SuSEconfig and restart sendmail. regards Anders
