I don't know anything about European retail, but there are several video cards in the US that are supported by GLX (http://utah-glx.sourceforge.net). If you can find a used one, the Matrox G200 family should be under your budget, as should any of the S3 ViRGE chipset cards (new). nVidia Vanta chipsets are relatively cheap here in the US, and offer much of the functionality of the nVidia TNT2, but at lower clockrates and a narrower memory bus (lower performance). If sheer performance/price is what you're after, the 3Dfx Banshee/V3 is *still* one of my favorite chipsets, though it only functions in full-screen mode (last time I checked, with XFree86 3.3.6). -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 x121 _\_V 6D04 39E0 CAE9 9ADA 2CA3 2EBE 898A 6C37 CA1E A29C -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
