the place to start would probably be with the freeradius website, www.freeradius.org since that will almost certainly be the main part of any ras server setup you do. stefan_Walther@gehag-dsk.de wrote:

Hello all, Does anyone know whether the ASUS P4PE has been used successfully with SuSE Linux 7.3 or 8.1? The only P4 series board I see in the hardware database is "partially" supported, and I can't tell what parts are unsupported or whether a newer P4 series board is likely to be better supported. My 7.3 on an old computer has been flaking, and it installed on the new computer with the P4PE without ever installing a root account. *groan* Since I've been having problems, I'm trying to figure out whether the motherboard will work before I receive the 8.1 disks I've ordered - and before I mess with the 7.3 installation any further. Thanks, Marie
