Hi I am trying to setup a ISDN dialup internet conection on a laptop running suse 10 and/or 9.3. I think i have the right settings. I can see the USB-modem on dev/usb/ttyacm0 But when I start kppp noithing happens expect an error message that tells me to check the location of the modemdevice. The lights on the usb modem do not light up as the do in windows. ISDN usb modem: Dynalink ta du-128ta+ This is supposed to have the Winbond W6692CF chipset I4l is installed. Any suggestions? Is this a bug or just hardware incompatibility? If its crappy hardware, does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap usb isdn modem I could buy that works? -- Kenneth Aar

kppp is not our default application for it, so we do not really test it. Does it work with kinternet, after you have configured it in YaST ? bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SuSE AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de
Kinternet doesn't even give me any error messages. -- Kenneth Adrian Schroeter skrev:
