[opensuse] Instant Message w/ Webcam
Is there an instant message program (besides Skype) that can support the use of a webcam? I've preferred Pidign/GAIM for a while but neither the Windows or Linux versions support webcams for video chat. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Pidgin is currently working on adding video support. It was one of their Google Summer of Code projects. There is an open bug/feature request on Pidgin's bugtracker that has all of the details on the video progress. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
That's great. I really want a program that can do AIM video since that
is the primary messenger I use. I guess for now I can use Ekiga with
my SIP (Asterisk) server....
