I'm sure it will be, but maybe not in the release itself. Everything that goes into a openSUSE release is built on the opensuse build service(OBS). (build.opensuse.org). So something like this would be built there as a security tool and then utilized within OBS to look for security issues. fyi: In my opinion OBS is the crown jewel of opensuse and a major reason I love opensuse. Why not, it could be a regular package to be used 1. interactively by developers on downloaded sources 2. within spec files as BuildRequires to be used in %check section 3. as rpmlint hook on OBS (like you've mentioned outside release) Getting it ready for 1. would be the easiest step and could help finding out whether it's useful for 2. and finally worth for 3. at all. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
