All, I am having a problem building the PHP modules for Apache using the --with-mysql=/path/to/mysql switch on the configure line. I point the /path/to/mysql to the path, but the configure script tells me that it is unable to find the headers. So this brings up my question... Tom, I have mysql-devel installed, but there is still a problem. Have you installed the mysql-devel stuff? Or are you pointing configure at your databases in /var....? Kos, WOW! I thought I was going crazy!! I spent over 4 hours on this yesterday with no resolution. I hope someone from eith the SuSE or PHP camp reads this post and discovers where the issue is. Hi, If you don't use CURL, then you can get the srpms and binary rpms from http://svartur.rhi.hi.is/php If you do, heed the warnings and DO take backups of your /etc/httpd and /etc/php.ini as you WILL need them ( if I recall correctly, you'll need the *include* files from /etc/httpd ) I use these in production at my university, and they work well. -tosi On Tue, Apr 02, 2002 at 04:12:32PM +0300, kos wrote:
