Hi Guys Is it just me or is java missing from the ftp version of SuSE 8.2? I have downloaded and installed j2sdk and j2jre from java.sun.com but obviously the dependencies of OpenOffice, Jakarta etc etc all break so I am having to rebuild the source rpms for these packages. Is there an easier way?? Why is java2.rpm missing from the ftp version anyway?? TIA -- Peter Nixon http://www.peternixon.net/ PGP Key: http://www.peternixon.net/public.asc

Why rebuild? Just create a dummy RPM that provides the needed strings.
