This happens for every mail you send to the list. Sad but true, but a mail loop could be worse though.

Well, I'd try to contact the admin of the respective server, but as
postmaster@itineris.net doesn't exist .... I'll try to contact the collegue
responsible for the mailing list administration to remove that user from
sle.
