Pausing the boot screen text messages SuSE 9.2
I currently have both SuSE 9.0 and 9.2 installed on different machines and notice that when I boot the 9.0 machine, I am able to pause the boot process messages at any time by pressing the 'Scroll Lock' key on my keyboard. I notice however that pressing the same key when booting 9.2 has no effect, or if it does it is minuscule. What key can I use to stop the boot process messages in 9.2 or if I have the right key which file do I need to manually/Yast edit to get a longer pause ie permanent until I press the key again? -- ======================================================================== Hylton Conacher - Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org Currently using SuSE 9.0 Professional with KDE 3.1 ========================================================================

If you go into YaST and then sysconfig editor you will find a setting for being able to stop/continue the bootup with ^s ^q.
