Suppose I wanted to email you a complex mathematical explanation, or some type of systems diagram? Don't you think some kind of XML/HTML would be ideal for such communication? Go grab a copy of the book Gravitation from the library and thumb through it.
Ok, so let me add a "for the VERY OCCASIONAL(!!!) case". Over the past N months, I have not had a *single* email where HTML would have done any good. I agree there may be cases where you're right, but they evaporate into insignificance between the noise. No doubt for suse-linux-e. You'd also negotiate data transmission formats with the recipient(s) first. And by the way, for your "complex mathematical explanation" send LaTeX.
