automounting filesystems with noacl
How can I use automounted filesystems, and mount them with -noacl. I know how to use the automounter (which works like a charm), but is there a way I can explicitly ask the automounter to not mount with ACL enabled ? I think I just managed to crash a sun fileserver because of this, an that's not funny ;( Kind regards, -- Gerhard den Hollander Phone :+31-10.280.1515 ICT manager Direct:+31-10.280.1539 Jason Geosystems BV Fax :+31-10.280.1511 gdenhollander@jasongeo.com POBox 1573 visit us at http://www.jasongeo.com 3000 BN Rotterdam JASON.......#1 in Reservoir Characterization The Netherlands This e-mail and any attachment is/are intended solely for the named addressee(s) and may contain information that is confidential and privileged.

You can add the usual mount options in your auto.master (or whatever is appropriate) map. See autofs(5) for the key syntax. -- -ckm
