Yes, I'm using opensuse 11.1 with gnome gui and I'm running gedit from within a gnome-terminal. Aside from using "su -", what exactly was the cause of the error messages and what do they mean? Thanks Carlos E. R.-2 wrote:

Nothing special, something is trying to contact remote configuration server, but it can't find it, and complains about that. Something like computer that is setup for enterprise environment, but taken out basic network and now can't find configuration server. -- Regards, Rajko http://news.opensuse.org/category/people-of-opensuse/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
