When trying to run kivio I get the following error message (you have to run it from the command line to see the message): kivio: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/kde2/lib/libkiviopart.so: undefined symbol: delayedDestruction__10KoDocument Any one else gets a different result? Avi: Try uninstalling koffice and kivio: rpm -e koffice and rpm -e kivio then reinstall the koffice 1.1 beta 1 or two rpm. this should work. if not do rpm --rebuilddb. -- Cheers, Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan, reinstalling koffice 1.1 beta 3 fixed the problem. It
seems that the two versions (the stand alone rpm and the koffice rpm) are
mutually exclusive. SuSE packagers, can you do something about it (maybe
document it in a README file)?
Thanks,
Avi

That is exactly right. The Koffice developers now include Kivio as an integral part of Koffice where as before it was a stand alone app. Installation of the new Koffice does not remove the old Kivio, so it along with the old Koffice should be uninstalled, before installing the new Koffice. BTW where did you find the Koffice 1.1 beta 3 rpm? I am dying to try it out. -- Cheers, Jonathan
SuSE's ftp site: /pub/suse/i386/KDE2/update_for_7.1/k2de3/RPM/
