[opensuse] How to probe a module during boot?
Hello, I need to have fuse automatically probed when my computer starts up but I'm not sure how that line would look like in my /etc/modproble.conf or even if that's the right file I should be editing. When I use fusion manually I just type 'modprobe fuse' as root and then I'm able to use it. Can I have an example how I would right that in my modprobe.conf file so I can have it automatically loaded when I boot up? Not sure of which version you are running, check out /etc/init.d/boot.fuse, and just enable it via Yast Runlevel Editor -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.2 x86_64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
I have systems running 10.3 and 10.2

Hi! Just start "Yast > System > /etc/sysconfig/ editor" The "System > Kernel > MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT" and then add the module name of the module you want to be loaded at boot up! Solved my little vboxdrv Problem when installing Virtualbox 1.5 OSE. Hope I could help, Claus On Sat, 2007-10-06 at 03:47 -0700, Jake Conk wrote:
