Subject: Fix for Lynx
Hello:
Lynx does not work properly because it's /usr/lib/lynx.cfg file has the wrong
enteries.
SYMPTOM: Lynx just won't start.
TO FIX:
Edit the /usr/lib/lynx.cfg file like so:
Was:
# STARTFILE is the default starting URL if none is specified
# on the command line or via a WWW_HOME environment variable;
# Lynx will refuse to start without a starting URL of some kind.
-----------------<snip>--------------------------
# Normally we expect you will connect to a remote site, e.g., the Lynx starting
# site:
STARTFILE:file://localhost/usr/doc/packages/lynx/lynx_help/lynx_help_main.html
Should Be:
STARTFILE:file:/usr/share/doc/packages/lynx/lynx_help/lynx_help_main.html
And for the help file section of lynx.cfg:
Was:
HELPFILE:file://localhost/usr/doc/packages/lynx/lynx_help/lynx_help_main.html
Should Be:
HELPFILE:file:/usr/share/doc/packages/lynx/lynx_help/lynx_help_main.html
Lynx should now run correctly.
