Hi. Was so happy last night that my VMware worked ok. Now after having started up, and powered on, the system tells me: "Operating system not found". The setup section has boot to be the hard-drive, but seems that it is searching for info on the floppy drive. What can I have forgotten ??. Is it now necessary to start over again installin the WIN98SE ??. -- Med venlig hilsen / Best regards / VY 73 de OZ4KK Erik Jakobsen - erik@urbakken.dk SuSE 7.3.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 All righty then, Have you checked your configuration. Start up VMWare and run the configuration editor. Is there a configuration? Is this your default configuration? The configuration editor points to a configuration file which in turns points to the Virtual Disk that you use. :) Q On Wed 28 Nov 01 11:24, Erik Jakobsen wrote:

Yes and no.
Start up VMWare and run the configuration editor.
Well I have started it up now, and I'm installing WIN98SE again.
Is there a configuration? Is this your default configuration?
Well could I ask you please to give me an example of what should stand there ?.
The configuration editor points to a configuration file which in turns points to the Virtual Disk that you use.
As for instance ??. But what do I need to save after the install of the WIN98 has finished ?.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, All you have to do before exiting VMWare is to save your configuration. It will save a config file in your vmware directory in your home directory. Regards Q On Wed 28 Nov 01 13:21, Erik Jakobsen wrote:
