So, then I followed Ben's advive, uninstalled Mozilla 1.4b, downloaded 1.4rc5 tar.gz and installed that. ( file structure seems significantly different) Anyway, same big fonts. Finally discovered (after Ben telling me) that I had to use gnomecc as a user (was thinking it was system wide) and finally solved my font size problem. Only thing is, I don't have any of my plug-ins :-( Guess I will have to go to Netscape and download them. Nor my bookmarks (See below) Hey Ben, guess I have to take mozilla out of my apt-get sources list now, right? :-( BTW, couldn't download that theme. Don't know why. I would like to try it!
Just so you know if you do get those bookmarks melded together they should go in a directory simulary to this..
/home/ben/.mozilla/ben/br6t5vii.slt
The above directory are where I've placed mine and it works...it's weird that yours do not. :/
Ben, Thanks. Yes it is even wierder that now that I have finally imorted my bookmarks, (See my reply to Carlos) the file is not updated. Only God knows where that new file is stored.
Good to hear that gnomecc fixed your issue. I've attached an RPM of QtCurve. This set works for both versions of GTK and for KDE 3.1.x ..it's the same package I'm using on two boxes. Remember that if you are going to change the gnome theme ..use gnomecc. The KDE version shows up in styles in the controil centre. Also remember to follow these directions about the GTK stuff. :)

.......< Directions snipped>............... Yep, installed it today.... Thanks for your trouble. I like it. Now I see that James has published an updated version.
Good luck and I hope 8.2 starts behaving for you soon. It really is quite nice. It's a shame your having so many issues with it.
Cheers to you too! Thanks again Bob S.
