How do you get threading to work in Kmail? I have SuSE 9.2 Kmail. I have created Sub-folders and marked them as containing a mailing list. However, none of the collapse - expand threading stuff works. Any hints like Must be Top-Level folder... etc.? B-_

Menu 'Folder', option 'Thread Messages'. My KMail (SuSE 8.2, KDE 3.3.2) threads folders independently from their being top-level folders or not. Regards, -- Andreas Philipp Noema Ltda. Bogotá, D.C. - Colombia

I believe it simply marks the thread with a corresponding status attribute. This would allow you to search for and view only those threads with the 'watched' attribute, using the 'Quick Search' toolbar. -- Andreas Philipp Noema Ltda. Bogotá, D.C. - Colombia

Have you enabled threads in the Folder menu? Folder -> Thread Messages and possibly Folder -> Thread Messages also by Subject as well.

And while you're at it, get rid of the Reply-To when sending to the list, OK? Randall Schulz
