A Toast data file and no doubt a proprietary format. I no longer remember specifically, but I think it's probably possible to use Toast to create an ISO image file that can be used by Linux CD recording software.
*.sit
A StuffIt archive file. Allume (nee Aladdin) sells a Linux edition of its Macintosh compression software. See http://www.stuffit.com/unix/stuffit/. There's a limited-time demo version available, too.
Thank you
